More than $10,000 worth of items stolen from construction site

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a well pump, air conditioning unit and generator from a construction site at Orange Blossom Hills in Summerfield.

The theft of the items was reported by the head of MTS Construction Group.

The items went missing between Sept. 13 and 27, according to the incident report from the sheriff’s office. The items have a total value of $10,200.
