17-year-old toting Taser arrested after punching female student at Leesburg High School

A 17-year-old student was arrested Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly broke the nose of a female student at Leesburg High School.

The incident occurred at about 2 p.m. at the school. The girl, whose nose was broken and still bleeding, told law enforcement that she had been punched by the fellow student. When the 17-year-old suspect was being interviewed by law enforcement, he disclosed that he had a Taser in his backpack.

He was arrested on charges of felony battery and possession of a weapon on school grounds.
