18-year-old arrested in armed robbery at Martin Oil gas station in Ocala

An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery this weekend at a Martin Oil gas station in Ocala.

Tyrese Rembert allegedly entered the store at  1517 SW 10th Street at 3:43 a.m. Sunday and robbed an employee at gunpoint. Rembert then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the Ocala Police Department.

Rembert was located, arrested and charged with robbery with a firearm.
