A 19-year-old was arrested after a traffic stop early Thursday morning at Village Drive and State Road 44.
Christopher Lee Sesler of Wildwood was pulled over at 2:03 a.m. when a Wildwood police officer noticed that the car he was driving had a non-functioning left taillight. A K-9 alerted on the vehicle indicating the possible presence of drugs.
In the center console of the car, a two-pack of Swisher Sweets White Grape cigarillos was discovered, according to the arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. It contained marijuana.
He was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug equipment.
He was also cited for the non-functioning taillight.
He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $2,000 bond.
