19-year-old ticketed after accident on Rolling Acres Road

Katlyn Jean Zirkle, 19, of Ocala was ticketed by Lady Lake Police on a charge of careless driving following an accident at 3:34 p.m. Wednesday in Lady Lake.

Zirkle was traveling south on Rolling Acres Road behind a vehicle driven by Howard A. Frucht of The Villages. Zirkle told Lady Lake Police there was heavy traffic, due to the traffic light at the intersection of County Road 466. Frucht was stopped in traffic, and Zirkle’s vehicle rear-ended his vehicle.

Minor damage was sustained by both vehicles, according to the accident report.

Laura Frucht, a passenger in Howard Frucht’s vehicle, told officers she was experiencing

some minor neck pain, but did not seek medical treatment.
