Businessman Herman Cain, who sought the 2012 Republican nomination for the White House, might not be on the ballot this time, but he is offering some advice to some of the candidates.

In particular, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.

“They need to stop going after each other over inside Senate crap. Who voted which way on this bill. We don’t care! We don’t care about that crap,” Cain said during an appearance last week in Tulsa.

Cain will be appearing at 4 p.m. Tuesday at La Hacienda Recreation Center.

This is not Cain’s first trip to Florida’s Friendliest Hometown. He visited The Villages on Oct. 5, 2011 ahead of the Jan. 31, 2012 Florida GOP presidential primary.

Prior to trying his hand at politics, Cain enjoyed a successful career in the restaurant business. He led a turnaround at Burger King and headed Godfather Pizza in the 1980s.

These days, he is working as a radio host.
