Villages artist scores three prestigious showings for her paintings

Nancy Dias

Villages artist Nancy Dias was selected into three statewide art society exhibitions in January.

Artists submit their works in hopes of being juried into the exhibits in prominent galleries around the state.

Entries come from all over the state and beyond.

‘Kaleidoscope’

The Florida Watercolor Society Online Show chose her painting “Kaleidoscope,” her sixth such designation from that organization.

The Central Florida Watercolor Society also selected “Kaleidoscope,” along with a second painting titled “Short Circuit,” for its 2019 Annual Juried Member Show to be held at the Casselberry Art House in Casselberry on March 2-29.

‘Short Circuit’

Her third acceptance came from the Acrylic Painters USA, who chose her painting “On Set” for their 2019 Juried Show at ArtCenter Manatee in Bradenton FL. That shows starts Feb. 26 and runs through March 29.
