Villages restaurant manager responds to Villager’s complaint

Dear Ms. Gunter:

I understand that on March 9, 2019 you were a guest at our establishment. I’m very sorry that you experienced an unfortunate mishap resulting in an over charge to your credit card.
We at RJ Gator’s strive to make sure our customers receive excellent customer service and only be charged for what they order and receive. I made it my highest priority to go over your charges and look for any red flags that might show up.
What I was able to find proved to be a server error. The receipts showed that you were part of a party with individual checks. Another member in your party’s bill was the same as yours. Your server made a simple mistake by putting the tip on yours. I have adjusted your card in our system for the correct amount you should have been charged. Ms. Gunter we are all human and mistakes do happen but we are very sorry for this inconvenience and mishap and we hope you will come back and see us again.
