Keith Barnum

A Villager’s adult son was arrested after getting into a drunken dispute at Gator’s Dockside.

Lady Lake police were called at 2 a.m. Wednesday to the restaurant at Spanish Springs Town Square.

Keith Barnum, 40, who lives with his mother at 730 Roseapple Ave. on the Historic Side of The Villages, was attempting to get into a physical altercation with several individuals standing on the outside porch at the restaurant, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

Barnum, who has a long history of arrests in Florida’s Friendliest Hometown, appeared to have been drinking. He had a small plastic bottle in his pants pocket and it contained alcohol. Barnum had been previously banned from the restaurant.

Barnum was arrested on charges of trespass after warning and disorderly intoxication. He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $1,500 bond.
