Man jailed on $25,000 bond after caught driving on revoked license

A man was jailed on $25,000 bond after he was caught driving on a revoked license with multiple suspensions.

James Edward Berry, 65, of West Palm Beach, had been driving a black older model Ford Expedition shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday at U.S. Hwy. 27/441 and Rolling Acres Road when a search of his license plate number revealed an impound vehicle order had been issued, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

A check also showed that Berry’s license had been revoked in 2009 and he has a total of 19 suspensions in Florida.

He was taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail. His vehicle was impounded by Kling Towing.
