No trash pickup on Independence Day in The Villages

By Staff Report

There will be no trash pickup on the Fourth of July in the Sumter County, Marion County and Fruitland Park sections of The Villages.

Those who normally have Thursday trash collection should have their bags at the end of the driveway no later than 6 a.m. Saturday, July 6.

If you live in the Lake County portion of The Villages, please contact Lake County Solid Waste at (352) 343-3776 for information on your sanitation schedule. If you live in the Lady Lake portion of The Villages, please contact Waste Management at (352) 787-4416 for additional information.
