A 23-year-old woman is facing a felony drug charge after a bottle containing 21 acetaminophen/hydrocodone pills was discovered in the trunk of her car.

Kacie Lynn McKenzie of Wildwood was pulled over Sunday night after a police officer noticed her car’s taillight was not working, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. A K-9 alerted on her vehicle indicating the presence of drugs.

The bottle of pills was found in the trunk and McKenzie told police she has “moved around a lot” and “could not give a valid explanation as to the pills,” the report said.

McKenzie was taken into custody on a charge possession of a controlled substance and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. She was released after posting $2,000 bond.
