A 23-year-old woman was arrested after an argument with her mother at Hampton Inn & Suites on County Road 466.

Sumter County sheriff’s deputies were called to the hotel at about 1 a.m. Monday after the women got into a verbal altercation.

Once there, a deputy checked a purse belonging to Morgan Alyssa Keck and discovered syringes in a small makeup bag, according to the arrest report. The syringes tested positive for methamphetamine.

She was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $1,000 bond.

In 2015, Keck had been arrested after she reportedly struck her husband in the head with his keys. You can read more about that arrest HERE
