A Tampa woman was killed after crashing her car Wednesday evening in Pinellas County.
Danyella Lee Gieder, 25, of Tampa was driving a 2007 Nissan Altima, without a seatbelt, northbound on Interstate -275 in the inside lane south of Gandy Boulevard, according to a Florida Highway Patrol accident report. For reasons unknown, Gieder’s vehicle departed the roadway and entered the inside shoulder, colliding with a guardrail which then caused her vehicle to redirect across the roadway and hit a concrete bridge support, the report stated.
Gieder was transported to Bayfront Hospital where she later died from her injuries.
