26-year-old driver ticketed after striking sheriff’s office vehicle

A 26-year-old Fruitland Park man was ticketed after his vehicle allegedly struck a Lake County Sheriff’s Office vehicle.

Kyle Eugene Henderson was issued citations charging him with leaving the scene of a crash with property damage and careless driving, according to a report from the Fruitland Park Police Department.

The accident was reported to police at 8:07 a.m. Sunday.

Witness reports led police to Henderson.

The sheriff’s office vehicle, a 2007 Chevrolet, was transported to the sheriff’s office fleet maintenance lot.
