30-year-old habitual traffic offender arrested by Wildwood Police Department

A 30-year-old habitual traffic offender was arrested Monday night by the Wildwood Police Department.

Christopher Bahadur Singh of Wildwood had been driving shortly before 11 p.m. on Mill Street when a police officer noticed that a there was a non-functioning right rear running light on Singh’s vehicle.

When the officer asked Singh for his driver’s license, Singh said, “Man, I’ll be honest with you, my license isn’t good.”

The police officer discovered that Singh’s license had been indefinitely suspended and that he has been classified as a habitual offender.

He was arrested and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released Tuesday morning after posting $2,000 bond.
