35 embark on Flightless Honor Flight at VFW Village Home for Veterans

Villages Honor Flight’s Mission 30 on Tuesday honored 35 World War II, Korea and Vietnam veteran and the widows of veterans, who reside at the VFW Village Home for Veterans at Fort McCoy.

Guardians and staff rode a bus to the facility and presented a virtual tour of Washington D.C.’s memorials with honors and surprises. The Flightless Honor Flight is designed for veterans who can’t embark on the rigorous journey to Washington D.C.
