50-year-old arrested on drug possession charges in Wildwood

A 50-year-old Wildwood man was arrested Friday night on marijuana and drug possession charges.

Randall Troy Hayward was located by Wildwood police as he was driving shortly after 9 p.m. driving on U.S. 301 with an inoperative left tail turn light.

After he had been pulled over, Hayward gave officers permission to search his vehicle. In the vehicle, the officer discovered bag of marijuana and pipes used for smoking marijuana.

Hayward was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $2,000.
