62-year-old Ocala man dies after struck by pickup with teenager at wheel

A 62-year-old Ocala man died Tuesday night after he was struck by a pickup with a teenager at the wheel.

Noel Arocho had been walking on Cedar Trace in Ocala at 9:50 p.m. when he was struck by a 1994 Ford Ranger driven by Deivis Munoz Hernandez, 17, of Ocala, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Arocho was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center where he later died.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing and charges are pending.
