68-year-old woman arrested smoking marijuana in McDonalds parking lot

A 68-year-old woman was arrested at 12:42 p.m. Tuesday after she was discovered smoking marijuana in the parking lot of the McDonalds in Bushnell.

Phyllis M. Runser of Port St. Lucie was standing in the parking lot of the fast-food restaurant when she was discovered smoking marijuana by a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy.

She was found to be in possession of 24 rolled marijuana cigarettes.

She is facing a felony charge of marijuana possesion.

She was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $2,000.
