72-year-old Villager arrested at his home on battery charge

A 72-year-old Valle Verde Village man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly knocked his wife to the floor.

Lady Lake police were called to a home on Santa Rita Way Thursday morning. The wife of John Norbert Klysen told them that her husband had pushed her to the ground and then left the house. Klysen was arrested when he later returned.

He was booked at the Lake County Jail where bond was set at $500. He is due for arraignment March 4 in Lake County Court.
