A 74-year-old Weirsdale man was arrested Sunday night by Marion County sheriff’s deputies on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Barry Saul Lees reportedly was involved in an argument with his wife and daughter at their home on SE 170th St. in Weirsdale, according to a report from the sheriff’s office.
During the argument Barry told his family, “I’ll show you fear” and returned with a shotgun and threatened his family, the sheriff’s office indicated in a report.
He was transported to the Marion County Jail where bond was set at $2,500.
