A 75-year-old bicyclist suffered critical injuries Tuesday morning after he was struck by a vehicle in Citrus County.
Pok Sun Morgan, 73, of Homosassa, had been driving a Chevy Equinox eastbound on County Road 494 (Ozello Trail). Patrick A. Condray of Crystal River had been riding his bicycle eastbound along the south road edge of CR 494 with the flow of traffic, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol. Morgan failed to notice the bicyclist and sideswiped him, knocking him from the bicycle.
Condray was airlifted to Bayonet Point Medical Center. He had not been wearing a helmet, according to the report.
