Robert C. Rusaw Sr.

Robert C. Rusaw, Sr., age 84, of The Villages, FL, passed away on January 26, 2016 at the Villages Regional Hospital, The Villages, FL. He was the husband of Joyce Rusaw for 63 years.
Born in Detroit, MI he was a son of the late William and Laura Rusaw. Robert was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement he worked for Sun Strand Aviation, Colorado. He loved the mountains and built his own cabin at Storm Mountain. He was a craftsman making stained glass and model airplanes. He enjoyed camping and boating with his family. He and Joyce enjoyed square dancing.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Joyce and son: Richard Rusaw and his wife Mary Prather of Chapin, SC; daughter, Katherine Lambert of Spring Hill, FL; Yvonne Kaczmarek of Garden City, MI; Renee Miller husband Robert of Maybee, MI and Robert Rusaw, Jr. and his wife Sue of Dearborn Heights, MI. He is the grandfather of 7 and has 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Shirley Weber of Zephyrhills, FL. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Penny Lambert; Robert Lambert and Terrence Kaczmarek, Sons-In-Law.
A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 12 – 2:00 p.m. at the Hiers- Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL 32159.
