Virginia ‘Ginny’ L. Bockmiller

Mrs. Virginia “Ginny” L. Bockmiller, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in Leesburg, FL. She was born in Catlettsburg, Kentucky to the late Preston and Hazel Hall. She and her late husband William moved to the Leesburg area 32 years ago from Illinois. Ginny was a long time active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Leesburg, FL. She enjoyed music, ballroom, dancing, and taking vacations to visit with her family and friends. Those close to Ginny will remember her for her happy personality, love of singing and most of all for her loving and caring nature. She is predeceased by her Loving Husband of 66 years: William Bockmiller and her brother Paul Hall. She is survived by her Son: Michael Bockmiller, of New Port Richey, FL; Daughter: Beverly Robinson, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Brother: Sam (Nola) Hall, of Clarkston, MI; Sister-In-Law: JoAnn Hall, of WI; Grandchildren: Jeff, Chris, Ryan, Chelsea, and Aaron; and one Great-Grandchild: McKenna. Mrs. Bockmiller was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by many. A memorial service will be held on Thursday February 11, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery located in Bushnell, FL. with Pastor David Rosenau officiating from St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Virginia may be made to The American Cancer Society – P.O.
