81-year-old Villager ticketed following accident on Paradise Drive

An 81-year-old Villager was ticketed on a charge of improper backing following an accident at 12:40 p.m. Sunday on Paradise Drive near the Paradise Park entrance.

Marjorie E. Kalb of 1152 Paradise Drive was backing from the Paradise Park entrance when her 2007 Ford collided with a 2005 Cadillac driven by Sue Christel, 73, of Summerfield, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

A passenger in Kalb’s vehicle, 84-year-old Robert Kalb, fell from the vehicle during the accident and scraped his left elbow causing abrasion and bleeding. Lake EMS responded and treated him at the scene.
