97-year-old veteran will be model at upcoming Honor Flight fashion show

A 97-year-old veteran of World War II will be among the models featured in the upcoming Villages Honor Flight fashion show set at Colony Cottage Recreation Center.

Margaret Green Witt traveled on Honor Flight with her Guardian, Judy Simms, in 2013. Witt served in World War II in the South Pacific.

This will be the fourth annual fashion show fundraiser for Honor Flight. It is set fro 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19. There will be a catered brunch and raffles, 50/50 drawings, door prizes and “many surprises.”  Fashions will be provided by Anthony’s and Steinmart, who will provide attendees with discount shopping coupons.
