AC units airlifted onto new Lowe’s at Trailwinds Village

If you heard or saw a helicopter flying near County Road 466A and Buena Visita Boulevard, you were probably watching as air conditioning units were installed at the new Lowe’s in the Trailwinds Village.

The large units were lifted atop the 103,000-square-foot home improvement facility early this morning.

In addition to a Lowe’s Home Improvement Center, the new development will feature an Aldi grocery store, an ABC Liquor store and a Circle K gas station, with space for two more anchor stores and smaller retail stores.

Last week, Wildwood Special Magistrate Grant Watson recommended approval of a 4,000 square foot parcel to house VyStar Credit Union.
