Albert Joseph Wenig

Albert Joseph Wenig, 87, Ocala, FL, formerly of Lady Lake, FL died on Saturday, October 26, 2013. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Lady Lake in 1989 from Philadelphia. He retired after 35 years of working as an appliance serviceman for Philadelphia Gas Company. He was Methodist by faith, and a Marine Corps veteran of WWII. Albert was a member of Leesburg VFW Post No. 4705; American Legion Post No. 219 of Fruitland Park and the Marine Corps League in Leesburg. He was a member of Lake County War Veterans Honor Guard and the Double Dogs of the Marine Corps League. He was also a member of Philadelphia Lodge No. 600 A.F.A.M.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary in 1998 and his daughter Joann Wenig. Survivors include his son Robert A. Wenig and 2 daughters: Diann M. Weidhaas and Karen Partridge, 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on Friday November 1, 2013 at 10:00AM with full military honors conducted by Spring Hill Marine Corps League Honor Guard.
