Alfred Alan Hoyt, of Wildwood, Florida, born May 28, 1944 in Muncie, Indiana to Alfred and Catherine (Craigmile) Hoyt, died at Leesburg Regional Medical Center January 1, 2017 at the age of 72.
Survived by his Bride of 54 years, Cinda Ellen (Hutson) Hoyt, Children, Brad of Farmland, Indiana and daughter, Jessica, Dane and Rachelle of Dayton, Ohio and son Kristopher, Erin Hoyt Lahr of Anderson, Indiana and daughters, Teagan, Delaney, and Zoya, Hilary Slick and Husband Brian of Pendleton, Indiana, children Steffan and Allee, Lydia Extein and Husband Ron of Maple Valley, Washington and son Hoyt, Sister Sarah Shaffer and Husband George of Pittsburg, Texas, Brother Garry and Wife Margie of Grapevine, Texas.
Preceded in death by sister, Virginia (Ginny) Hoyt of Wildwood, Florida, Brother Jay Hoyt of Farmland, Indiana. There will be no service. Donations may be made in his name to the Diabetes Foundation. A gathering and cookout will take place in Indiana for friends and family to celebrate his life this summer at the home of daughter Hilary Slick, Date and times TBA.
He was “One of a Kind”. Those who knew him, loved him, those who didn’t, well they just didn’t.
