Alton Thomas Watkins, 83, of Ocklawaha, who on July 1st, 2014, has been called home, to take his place at God’s side. Thomas, a loving husband, caring father and wise grandfather, is survived by Luella, his wife of 62 yrs, sons James Ronald (Paulette) Watkins, James Donald (Rebecca) Watkins, Alan (Sharon) Watkins and Michael Watkins; daughters Elizabeth (Warren) Feltz, Sarah (Daniel) Johnson and Pattie (Mark) Stephens and 13 grandchildren. The life celebration will take place at the Beyers Funeral Home and Chapel, of Lady Lake, Fl, July 8th. Visitation will 12 pm -1 pm. Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Fruitland Park.
