Nathan Everett Pierson, 22, damaged the rear window, driver side window and front windshield of the victim’s vehicle with a machete after Pierson became angry when the victim attempted to leave his residence located on Hemlock Road without contributing to the monthly bills, according to a Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrest affidavit. The victim became defensive, started arguing with Pierson’s girlfriend and called Pierson’s children “bitches,” which enraged Pierson and caused him to start hitting the victim’s 2000 Chevy four-door with a machete, the affidavit stated. Pierson caused $2,000 in damage after shattering three of six car windows. He fled the scene.

Pierson was apprehended behind Wal-Mart and was brought back to the incident location by a MCSO deputy.  He admitted to breaking the car windows with a machete out of anger, according to the affidavit. Pierson was arrested and transported to Marion County Jail. Bond was set at $2,000.
