THE VILLAGES – Annamae Hurteau, 85, of The Villages, FL entered into eternal life Thursday, August 1, 2013. Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Elsie (Johnston) Glassmeyer. Annamae was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her husband Rolland of 66 years and children were her greatest joy. She came to The Villages from Palm Harbor, FL in 2005. She enjoyed golf, especially her 3 holes in one as well as gardening and dancing. Annamae was an accomplished line dancer and was awarded a gold medal in the senior games in 2009. She was of the Catholic faith. Annamae leaves her husband Rolland Hurteau, children, Suzanne Hurteau of The Villages, Greggory Hurteau of Waterford, MI, Linda Shine of Wasila, Alaska, Janet Fraley of Nashville, TN, Dale Hurteau of Grand Blanc, MI and 3 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages at 10 a.m. Burial will be at a later date in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
