Anne E. Hansen, at the age of 80, The Villages, FL passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 9, 2014. Born in New York, New York, she was the daughter of John & Anne Horrigan. Anne and Robert were married in 1985 and retired to The Villages in 1995 from New Jersey. She and Robert had a love that was a special devotion to each other that will never die, they have lived in The Villages for 19 yrs. with many great memories. During her life she was active with being Past president of the Rio Ponderosa’s ladies luncheon group, member of the Red Hats, member of ladies Pantano luncheon group, Ladies bowling league, and a group of ladies who liked to play cards. Anne was an avid reader and she loved her kindle. She liked to go out to eat dinner, or stay in and watch old movies, also talk with her children every week on the phone. Anne is survived by her husband Robert, Sr.; 3 sons: John Evans, Michael Evans, and Patrick Evans; 2 daughters: Elizabeth Ann Lorio, and Kathryn Evans; 2 stepsons: Robert Jr. and Thomas (deceased); 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Lady Lake Chapel of the Beyers Funeral Home on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity. The children would like to say: Mom you will be missed. You were the center of our family, you will never leave our minds or hearts, rest in peace. Love, your children.
