An anonymous complaint resulted in  the arrest of a man trespassing Wednesday evening at a construction site in Summerfield.

Marion County sheriff’s deputies responded to a construction site located at 4693 SE 138th St. in reference to an anonymous caller reporting three suspicious persons having been seen trespassing inside the structure, according to an arrest report.

Upon arrival, deputies made contact with one of the suspicious persons, Daryl Williams who was standing in the garage area inside the structure. Deputies advised Williams that they were called to the scene due to someone seeing several people inside the location.

One of the deputies conducted a pat down on Williams for weapons, in which Williams immediately became animated and nervous and began to reach into his pants pocket, the report stated. Due to the trespass taking place in the deputies’ presence, as well as the concern that Williams may have been reaching for a weapon, deputies secured Williams in handcuffs. Williams admitted to having a used syringe to inject speed.

He was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing. He was booked at the Marion County Jail.
