Auditor: Lady Lake Commission has $5.8 million in reserve funds

The Lady Lake Commission remains in a strong financial position with $5.8 million in reserve funds, according to a report from the town’s auditor.

W. Chet Ross of Shumaker, Johnston and Ross certified public accountants presented findings of the audit to commissioners in a special meeting Monday evening.

Members of the town’s financial staff were honored for their work, receiving the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association.

Receiving the award on behalf of the town were staffers Kristal Learn, Debbie Rodriguez, Jeannine Michaud and Pamela Winegardner.
