Barack Obama has done quite well for himself

To the Editor:

Barack Obama has done quite well for himself in the last dozen years or so. He was a state senator, Congressional candidate, U.S. senator and the president. He also moved from the middle class to a multi-millionaire. He had a rough start in life. Born out of wedlock, half white, black appearance, abandoned by his mother, and raised by his grandmother. Yet he has walked where only 43 men have walked before him. Remarkable accomplishment! There are claims that he is delusional and narcissistic. Others that his record is terrific. Hopefully, historians will apply empirical accountability to both his character and the record. Yesterday can not be changed. Ridicule or deception will not change it. Tomorrow will come. It will bring a new president. History continues. Calm down! Try the Serenity Prayer.
