Bargains offered at ‘gigantic yard sale’ Saturday

Hope Lutheran Church members and friends will host a “gigantic yard sale” beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20 on the grounds of House of Hope, 4738 NE 49th Blvd., Wildwood. Items priced to sell, wonderful treasures and bargains — all types of furniture, household items, tools, shelving units, office cabinets, Christmas accessories, books, musical items (organ), appliances, and more. In conjunction with the Yard Sale there will be an “Old Fashion Bake Sale”. Come, join in the fun and fellowship, bring your neighbors and friends. There is something for everyone.

All proceeds will benefit House of Hope, a 501(c), non profit, Christian based rehabilitation center for alcohol and drug addicts.

Directions: Take County Road 466A west to Powell Road, left on Powell Roud, cross State Road 44, travel on Signature Drive, turn right on Couty 156, left on County Road 181 — follow signs.  From Wildwood — south on U.S. Hwy. 301, turn left (east) on State Road 44, turn right at signal light (Signature Drive and Powell Road) follow signs.

 

Golf course deserves a failing grade
