Benefit set for Evans Prairie general manager injured in hit-and-run accident

Evans Prairie Country Club General Manager Lacey Klein was recently injured in a hit-and-run accident.

She is now unable to work. She has a young daughter to care for and no family in the area.

A benefit brunch to help her is set for 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Aug. 2 at Evans Prairie Country Club.

Brunch donations are $25 and the owner will match the donations dollar for dollar.

The menu will include made-to-order omelets, a carving station, pastries, fresh fruit, muffins, bacon, sausage, ham, grits, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, scrambled eggs and English muffins.

Evans Prairie Country Club is located on Buena Vista Boulevard, south of County Road 466A.
