Bicyclist killed in accident in Orange County

By Staff Report

A 47-year-old bicyclist was killed Wednesday night in Orange County.

Dean Lindstorm of Orlando had been riding his bicycle on Edgewater Drive when he was struck by 1999 Ford van driven by Daniel O’Brien, 22, also of Orlando, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Lindstorm was transported to Florida Hospital South where he later died of injuries suffered in the accident.

The accident remains under investigation.
