A Wildwood man was jailed Wednesday night after he allegedly stole materials from his employer, Blue Rhino in Tavares.
A manager had noticed valves missing from propane tanks.
The manager spotted employee Dadrin L. Coleman, 31, take valves and place them in a car in the company’s parking lot, according to an arrest report from the Tavares Police Department.
When called into the manager’s office, Coleman admitted taking the valves and said he did it because he had fallen on hard times and needed extra money.
He was arrested on a charge of petit theft and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $1,000 bond.
