Bob Burdick, 80, passed from this life Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Bob and his wife, Palma moved to The Villages in 2000 from Chicago, Illinois. Bob had been the owner of Special Service Company for many years in Chicago. Bob loved to play golf and play cards on the computer. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Burdick.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Palma Burdick; children, Kathryn Poduch (Thomas), Patrick Brian Burdick (Karen); 4 grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Phyllis Andrews and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10 AM Tuesday, October 21, 2014 until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery
