Bonnie Liegey, 76, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Bonnie was born on October 28, 1940 in Ragland, West Virginia and lived most of her life in Shelby, Ohio. She retired and for the last 12 years has resided in Summerfield, FL. Bonnie had a passion for the Arts, including photography, drawing, painting and decorating. She really enjoyed capturing family in her artwork.

Survivors include husband of 43 years Wayne Liegey of Summerfield, FL; sons Brian Liegey and Bill (Martha) Godby both of Orlando, FL; daughter Terri “Tiger” (David) Perkins of Shelby, OH; step-children Ellen (Mike) Smith of Mt. Vernon, OH, Dawn (Davy) Hale of Atlanta, GA, Chip (Debra) Liegey of Bossier City, LA, and Stuart (Charissa) Liegey of Columbia, MO; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents Rufus and Lucille Browning; grandmother Hattie Goodwin; son Robert Godby; step-daughter Sandy Gomez.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 10-11 am, with a service to follow at 11 am, located at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages, FL 32159.
