While many Club alumni have achieved particular distinction in fields such as entertainment, business, politics and sports, the average alumnus is not famous. Most have achieved success by getting an education, raising a family, serving their country, pursuing a career or supporting the community.

For over 40 years the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lake and Sumter Counties has been inspiring and enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. In 2013, over 1,853 local youth benefited from Club programs with three priority outcomes-Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character and Citizenship.
