Brother, sister arrested on charges of selling stolen items at scrapyard

A brother and sister have been arrested on charges they stole items from a Wildwood residence and sold them at a scrap yard.

Andrew Churchill, 34, and Selana Vanessa Churchill, 32, were arrested Wednesday by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies. Both are facing felony charges of burglary, grand theft and dealing in stolen property.

The pair has been accused of entering a residence Monday on County Road 521 in Wildwood and removing items valued at $3,316. They later sold the items at a scrapyard, according to arrest reports.

Both are being held on $12,000 bond at the Sumter County Detention Center.
