Bruce Noel Johnson, 83, a longtime resident of Leesburg, FL, died on Oct. 4 at the home of his daughter in Indiana.
Mr. Johnson held undergraduate and law degrees from Drake University and grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Georgia and Osborn W. Johnson. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Mr. Johnson spent most of his career with the Chicago Title Insurance Company and resided in Sugar Grove, Ill. before retiring to Florida. An avid golfer, Mr. Johnson scored a hole-in-one in 2013 at the Continental Country Club in Wildwood, Fla.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; daughters Linda (Philip) Stein, Dr. Michelle Iyamah, and Tamera (Mark) Jacobi; and a son, Bruce N. Johnson II (Maureen); and his sisters Nancy (Max) Ingram and Rosemary (Randy) Wisecup and a brother, Robert Johnson; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his great-grandson Dominic Lancour and five siblings.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday October 15 at the Page Theus funeral home. 914 W Main St, Leesburg, FL 34748
