Campbell ‘Bill’ W. Bailey

Campbell W. “Bill” Bailey, The Villages, FL passed away October 14, 2014. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 26, 1933 and was raised in Miami, FL. While working at Eastern Airlines in 1962 he met his wife Barbara, and together went on to establish a travel business which they operated for 25 years while raising a family in Parsippany, NJ. After retiring in 1996 he lived in Amelia Island, FL, moving to The Villages in 2003. Bill was an avid golfer, musician and enjoyed all sports. He was a dedicated little league coach for over a decade while raising his five sons. In addition to his wife of 49 years, he is survived by his sons Michael, Atlanta, GA., Robert (Kristine), Cherry Hill, NJ, Richard, Warwick, NY, Ryan, Madison, NJ, Gregg (Kerry), Morris Plains, NJ, and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Beyers Funeral Home, 134 N. Hwy 441/27 in Lady Lake, FL. on Sunday, Oct. 26th from 2 – 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. http://m.alz.org/donate.asp
