Republican candidate for Congress Justin Grabelle has unveiled a long list of endorsements from local officials from throughout the district.
Grabelle is running to succeed his former boss, U.S. Rep. Rich Nugent. Nugent, who is retiring, has endorsed Grabelle. He is facing Congressman Daniel Webster, who has shifted from his existing district to the district which includes The Villages. Webster’s district has been redrawn to include more Democratic-friendly precincts. They will square off in the Aug. 30 GOP primary.
“I’m humbled to have such wide and strong support from our community. It’s clear from the grassroots to our local elected officials that our community wants a representative from our area who understands our needs and concerns,” said Grabelle.
