Can’t neighbors be friendly?

What on earth is the matter with the residents of the Village of Palo Alto in “Florida’s Friendliest Hometown”?  The owners of this house are in a medical facility, completely unable to care for their yard, and you are complaining about a few palm fronds and overgrown grass? And how is it going to help them to start laying another financial burden on them to do something they cannot do?
For goodness sake, show that you really are “friendly” and good neighbors, get together and clean it up for the poor souls! If half a dozen people were willing to put in the time it takes for one round of golf, it could all be done and everyone would be happy: the owners would be blessed and grateful, not to mention relieved, and all those who helped would be blessed for the doing. To those of you who are able-bodied: it might be YOU in that situation one day. Wouldn’t you appreciate a little neighborly help?
