To the Editor:
Let me premise, we have been here since January, I have driven and trained drivers all over the country.
I have seen a great deal of very poor driving as seen in all the crash articles in Villages-News.com.
Seems like everybody is in a hurry, and they don’t need to be.
I think everybody should take a defensive driving course to refresh skills and perhaps look at the way they drive. Poor driving puts the whole community we love at risk, not to mention the people who live here.
I have seen at least three to four serious crashes a week here. Three to four crashes is way over the national average. I also see in each instance they both think they were right and not at fault. My recommendation is to take a course, slow down, relax and give the other guy the right of way for a change. Just these techniques alone will keep you safer and reduce the stress in your and our lives.
